Meet Haddie

Mom writes: Haddie Constantly AMAZES me with her attitude and bravery. She fell off the trampoline in September and went from being a normal 6 year old to her entire life changing in the blink of an eye when a routine scan to check for trauma revealed a monster In the form of a tumor hiding in her brain attached to her brainstem. Despite developing severe PTSD from brain surgery, multiple other surgeries, having to leave home to endure radiation therapy at st. Jude and countless hospital stays, Including just starting chemo, she makes it her mission to help Kids like her. She also loves to paint, its the Only thing that calms her down, and she paints cards for Kids like her in the hospital to help encourage Them. She handles every scary moment with courage and teaches me how to be a better person every day!

Warrior of Childhood Cancer PTSD

Haddie's kitten painting was used to comfort Haddie at the hospital where a kitten wasn't allowed. Her kitten portrait held a Myrtle Blossom, the flower that Haddie is named after.

Warrior Kids

Artwork given to Warriors of Childhood Cancer are especially important. I met MacKenna through Haddie, who was at the hospital where Haddie was being treated. We are all connected.
